After logging in for the first time, you will see the Activity Monitor screen as shown above. The major sections of this screen are explained below:

  1. My Students (the tab you're on)
    1. Your students, their progress, and new messages are listed here.
  2. My Teachers (the next tab)
    1. Lists all teachers in the school and their students. It also shows their students' progress and new messages.
  3. Students
    1. All students in this school are listed here. You can also see this information by clicking on Students in the top menu. You may click on a student’s name to see more information or mark off lessons that have been completed.
  4. Student Progress to Review
    1. Any students with progress that needs to be reviewed and responded to are listed here. You may click on their name, and it will expand to show more information.
  5. New Messages to Review
    1. Any students with new messages are listed here.

View a student's progress by clicking on their name, and it will expand to show more information. Next click on the student’s lesson to view detailed information.

        1. The lesson that the student has completed will be colored blue. Any half colored circles mean that the student has not completed the lesson after starting it.
        2. Use Mark lesson complete or Mark all complete to mark off the lesson as complete. Note: this is not the same as grading the lesson. The system will automatically grade the lesson when the student has completed it but this will allow you to keep track of when the student has completed more lessons.
        3. Shows the major sections of the lesson. All questions are shown in the proper section. You may click on the section name to view more context about that question.
        4. The question and answer are shown for each question and whether the student has answered it correctly or not.

At the bottom of the same page as the above, there are two more notable features:

        • Decisions
          • Which decisions the student has made at the end of the lesson.
        • Send a message to the student
          • There are a couple of ways that we could send a message, but this is one option for that. After sending the message, the student will receive an email letting them know that they have a new message. They can then log back in to check the message.
