WHAT CAN YOU CUSTOMIZE?

  • Background image (default is a hand with a Bible)
  • Welcome message
  • Introduction text
  • Video link (currently supports Vimeo or YouTube)
  • Appearance template (choose the overall look and style of your school)
  • Logo and school name (toggle whether to display your logo and school name)

To reach this page, you must be logged in as a teacher or administrator. You must also click on SCHOOLS in the top menu, then click on your SCHOOL NAME, then click on CONTENT. Once there, you should see a page similar to the one below.

    CUSTOMIZING THE LAYOUT

This section allows you to customize the front page of your online school. The first row refers to the overall look and style, while the second row refers to the pictures that represent each course. Please feel free to explore and experiment with each option and combination because they are quite different from each other. Once you've saved the layout by clicking on the Update School button, you can go to your website or click on the little globe icon near the Update School button to open a new tab with your website.

    CUSTOMIZING TEXT OF YOUR SCHOOL

You may customize the Headline, Headline Accent, and the Body text of your school.

    ADDING A VIDEO LINK

If you'd like to add a video link (YouTube, Vimeo, etc.) to your school, you can do so by pasting the video URL in the Video Link field. This allows you to record your own video introducing your school. Note: this is only available in the default layout. It is not available for A, B, or C layouts.

CHANGING THE LOGO AND BACKGROUND OF YOUR SCHOOL
You may upload a new logo or change the background image of your school. You may need to experiment a little to get the right image and size. This is because the lower portion of the image will not be visible due to the description/video of your school.
