Creating a Seminar

From anywhere on the website, click the large plus button and then "Seminar". Select your school and then "Create New Seminar". Note: if trying to create a seminar results in an error, please contact the Voice of Prophecy by phone or email at [email protected] or (805) 955-7652. This option may need to be added to your account in order to use it.

Next, you may enter the name of your seminar. Note: a seminar can be any event where you intend to track the attendance of the attendees. The other options on the screen should be left with the default options. If desired, you may update the notification delays here. The notification referred to is how long the system will wait to send a follow-up to the instructor if no information about the student has been updated. When finished, click "Create Seminar" at the bottom of the page.

Your seminar has now been created. Now we will need to add Presentations to our seminar. To do so, please click the "Presentations" tab, then "Add Presentation" on the next page.

This screen will allow you to add the name of the presentation and the date that it will be held. If you plan to pass out decision cards for a particular evening, you may also list the name of the card here as well. After entering the relevant information, please click "Save".

The resulting information should look something like this when you're finished (with the details matching your particular event).

You may now enroll any student in your school in the seminar just as you would any other course, except instead of enrolling them under the "Courses" tab for the student, you would now enroll them within the "Seminars" tab.
